    Business Services Manager

    We are currently seeking a Business Services Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, based in our Brendale office.  This is an opportunity to work with and manage a team, reporting directly to our Directors.

    In this role you will work with a diverse client base across a broad range of industry sectors.  Your responsibilities will include the management and delegation of workflow around compliance, cash flow forecasts, management reports, tax research and advisory work.  You must have solid business services and tax experience with a variety of clients, as well as demonstrated advisory skills with exceptional communication skills.

    Training and development is provided through in house training, with your desire for career progression and professional development supported.

    To be successful in this role you will require:

    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a management role working within an Accountancy Firm in Business Services
    • CA / CPA qualified
    • Comprehensive understanding of Australian tax legislation
    • Strong tax advisory skills
    • Demonstrated ability to delegate and review work
    • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor lower level accountants encouraging development of skills, both technical and interpersonal
    • Confidence in working with clients to propose advisory and ‘other services’ work to help clients meet their overall business objectives
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • A strong degree of initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Enthusiasm and self-motivation

    Intermediate / Senior Business Services Accountant

    We are also currently seeking a full-time strong Intermediate or Senior Business Services Accountant to join our team and based in our Brendale office.  This is an opportunity to work in a supportive team reporting directly to your Managers.

    In this role you will work closely with the Managers and Directors and gain insight and experience through the provision of support you will provide to your Managers.  You will work with a diverse client base across a broad range of industry sectors, and your responsibilities will include preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, cash flow forecasts, management reports, tax research and advisory work. You must have business services and tax experience with a variety of clients, as well as exceptional communication skills.

    Training and development is provided through in house training, with your desire for career progression and professional development supported.  Education assistance is also provided where required.

    To be successful in this role you will require:

    • 3-5 years’ experience working within an Accountancy Firm in Business Services
    • Degree qualified
    • Demonstrated understanding of Australian tax legislation
    • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor more junior accountants
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • A strong degree of initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Enthusiasm and self-motivation
