2016 Australian Accounting Awards Finalist
We are very proud to announce that Jessica McCallum, SRJ Walker Wayland Cadet Accountant, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Australian Accounting Awards. Jess is in the running to take out the Accounting Student of the Year award.
Now in its third consecutive year, the Australian Accounting Awards, recognises individual excellence in accounting, from the profession’s most senior ranks to its rising stars.
Jason Croston, Managing Director of SRJ Walker Wayland said that organisers had confirmed a record number of submissions were received this year. Making Jess’s achievement even more outstanding. “Jess has been selected as a finalist based on the quality of her submission which is an excellent achievement on its own. Our heartfelt congratulations goes to Jessica,” said Jason.
Jess will be attending a five-star gala awards dinner on Friday, 14 October at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, where the winners will be announced.

Jess is one of a number of cadet accountants working at SRJ WW. The cadet program provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience whilst completing university studies in the field of accounting. It is this combination of work and study that puts our cadets at the forefront of their careers within the accounting profession.
